Biography

about me...

I’m work as a full time visual artist from my studio in Nenagh,Co.Tipperary. In 2008 I obtained a Honours Degree in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art and Design . In 2019 I retired from my position of art tutor with the Tipperary Educational Board and now devote all my time to paintings.

My work is on display in Permanent Collections at: University of Limerick, Department of Defence, Revenue Commissioners, Hunt Museum, Tipperary County Council, Law Society of Ireland and Private Collections Nationally and Internationally. I’m also represented by Draiocht Gallery, Adare,Co.Limerick, The Beara Gallery  and Gallery1608, Bushmills,Co.Antrim.

Open Exhibitions: 2021 Hambly&Hambly Group show, 2020 “ Imagine” at Hambly&Hambly, Ennistymon Courthouse Gallery, The Source Thurles, The Lab Dublin, Hunt Museum, EVA, Oscailt Nenagh, Toronto International Art Fair, Adams Auctions, Sol Art Dublin, Eigse Carlow, The Lavitt Cork and Limerick Printmakers Open Exhibition.

Solo Exhibitions:2021 Nenagh Arts Centre, 2020 “Imagine” Hambly&Hambly, “Crossing the Divide” Hunt Museum (2009) “Into the Abyss” Ennistymon Courthouse Gallery (2009),” Between Spaces” Normoyle Frawley (2010). In 2014 Signal Arts, Birr Theatre, Ennistymon Courthouse, Quay Arts and The Hunt Museum Print Exhibition. 2017 “Beginning, End and the Journey” at the Toradh Gallery, Co. Meath.
